Dirty Ghosts - “Shout It In”
The Dirty Souls, a four piece rock band from Atlanta, Georgia, consists of Alex Slinin, Jason Holt, and Adam and Matt Johnson. Forged from the friendship and love of music shared by Matt and Jason, the family ties of Matt and Adam, and the new addition of Alex, The Dirty Souls have developed a truly unique sound. With influences such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and various soul artists, The Dirty Souls emerge as a welcome breath of fresh air to the music scene. With a rhythm section reminiscent of 1960s R&B, combined with vocals and lyrics that are both truly honest and soulful, The Dirty Souls create a sound that has both mass appeal and musical integrity.
They were a part of the SXSW lineup for 2011… let’s see if they make a second appearance this year. *fingers crossed*
